Hub & Spoke

The Hub and Spoke layout places a single core concept at the center of the canvas with satellite elements radiating outward along evenly spaced axes, connected by lines or arrows. The hub is visually dominant — larger, bolder, often a different color — establishing it as the unifying theme. Each spoke terminates in a node containing a related subtopic, feature, or component, and these outer nodes can carry their own supporting details. The radial symmetry communicates that all spokes share equal importance relative to the hub, which makes this layout ideal for frameworks, ecosystems, and feature overviews where no single element takes priority over another. The visual form resembles a wheel, a sun with rays, or a mind map, all of which carry positive connotations of completeness and connectivity.
